Laang's third album Riluo 日落 is inspired by the trauma and recovery of the band's frontman, Haitao Yang, who was shot and briefly declared medically dead.
During this time, Haitao experienced hallucinations of another world that brought an overwhelming sense of terror and isolation.
This album explores the feeling and experience of what it feels like to die and recounts the visions he had while bleeding out.
Lyrically, the album deals with the trauma of death, the pain of recovery and the emotional disconnect that comes with trying to live a normal life again after trauma.
Riluo 日落 is released as a six-page digipak with booklet sleeve and 16-page booklet limited to 500 copies.
